Food for Thought

Unbelievable!! Recently, King Norodom Sihamoni has given a pardon to a "convicted terrorist," Soun Serey Ratha, so that he would have a right to run for political office in Cambodia. What seems bothersome to many people, including me, is that Soun Serey Ratha is a nemesis of King Sihamoni's father, Norodom Sihanouk. In many of his writings, Soun Serey Ratha has defamed, defiled, and denounced Sihanouk like a mad man. It is shocking, indeed, to see King Sihamoni give pardon to a man who seems to hate his father to the bone.
